About the school The RT School is an educational project based at a major international television channel. It includes online and offline programs for journalists of various skill levels. Since 2020, the RT School has conducted nearly two dozen online courses and over 100 in-person events. Over 3,000 media professionals have completed our courses, approximately 150 of whom have joined the teams at RT, Ruptly, Sputnik, and MIA Rossiya Segodnya. All RT School projects are based on real-world cases and are constantly updated and expanded. Online courses The "TV and Online Journalism" course is the RT School's flagship project, useful for both beginners and experienced media professionals. It includes over 60 lessons from leading RT experts in journalism, directing, design, editing, SMM promotion, sound engineering, and more. "Pop-Science Journalism" is a course for those passionate about science, which we teach how to communicate simply, clearly, and engagingly. It includes master classes and lectures from the authors and hosts of major popular science shows, projects, and blogs, as well as science popularizers and journalists. The popular science course is a joint project of the RT School and the National Priorities nonprofit organization, with the support of the Science and Universities national project, created during the Decade of Science and Technology. RT Academy is an international project for foreign journalists. Training is conducted in English, French, and Chinese.
